Trying to find a 9mm Shield and everyone seems to be out. Does anyone know where I can order one or are they all sold out?

LGS told me to be ready to waite for a while.
Still in shops around here. I was in a shop Friday that had 2 in .40 and one 9mm
They do go quick though. As stated above ask your local shop to get you on a list. They must be back in production as someone on my facebook got one last week that was made 9 days before..

I was fortunate in that I found a 9mm on our local gun forum which has classifieds. The seller bought it to pocket carry, didn't think it worked and then sold it to me for $400 supposedly without even firing a shot. That is my wife's EDC now.

Get on a list but its still going to take 2-4 months so i hope you are patient

I always suggest calling around instead of the list. Or get on the list but then call around. I found mine pretty easy. Though I got mine end of april so maybe they weren't popping off the shelves as fast... idk.

I read an article that said the 7000 Shields that were made were already sold out from the distributors. IIRC, that was at the end of April or start of May.

Get your name on the Cabela's list. You will pay a little more but no down required and they buy in big numbers and Cabela's customer service can't be beat. I was thankful I purchased my Beretta Nano from Cabela's. Tehy took it back for trade for the Shield with no quesitons asked. That extra $20 I paid was well worth it.

Gunbroker.com has them but its an auction site. Some dealers are starting to take advantage of the frenzy and charge 100 or more extra for them. Like others have said its best to get on a list, Im seventh on one list and fourth on another. Just sit tight if you can and wait till you can get one at an honest price.

Academy Sports gets them in from time to time. I got lucky a couple of weeks ago and got one for $399.

My wife's birthday is in 3 weeks. I'm really hoping I stumble upon one soon. I'm on several lists as well. I did find a 40 Shield, but they wanted $450 for it. She's a 9mm girl, so I had to reluctantly pass.

I was 1st in line for a 40 at my LGS. Picked it up yesterday for $389+tx. They are good to me. Figured I'd pick the 629 up while I was there too......

I do not have a big gun retail store near me so I had to buy my Shield on GunBroker, yes I did pay a premium but I had been saving for one and when I finally got the money there was only one on GunBroker. It cost me $556.00. I didn't care I wanted the 9mm and so I bought it. Several 40 cals a lot less.
