trying to decide if a 625 4" will serve both as a winter conceled carry in a OWB pancake holster and short range (under 50 yd) small deer gun. I would like to see what some are useing as far as compact grips on there N frames, so if you have pictures I appreciate your time, Thanks

I suspect that about as compact as you will find are either original "service grips" or current reproductions on the S&W site.

I have a pair of these and have used them on a 3 1/2" Model 27.

They work quite well.

Magnas work well too. They are what I am using now.

These are the smallest grips I've found for a RB N frame. They're marked Byron's Vintage on the back.

Eagle Secret Service grips aren't as thin near the butt, but they're a lot prettier!

Eagle, they are grippy but hurt when shooting

I actually really like the Jordan style grips. They are a little bigger but it is all in the right places and make a huge difference for me compared to the previous grips.

If you get the 625 JM, it has a round-butt. I believe the standard 625 is square, but could be wrong.

You'd have to get aftermarket grip, since the JM comes with LARGE grips.
