The O'Reilly Factor - Bill O'Reilly - Fox News

Bill O of Fox news has been on a rant for the last two nights about how "heavy weapons" can be bought without any reporting laws.
According to him you can buy AK47s, machine guns, bazookas etc legally
without any reporting requirements - Tues night he screamed at Rep. who tried to explain the requirements of the NFA.

Please vote in his poll - and hopefully someone who's a member of his site will explain the reality to him - I thought "assault weapons" was bad , but
"heavy weapons"? What the hell are those.

Someone on his staff needs to research the 1934 Fed. Firearms Act, controlling machine guns. He is making a fool of himself spouting for the left! Certainly not us! Where can I get this stuff?

I happened to catch his show last night when he was talking with Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz over gun control laws. For a moment I thought I had tuned into CNN or MSNBC. O'Reilly was totally uninformed.

I wouldn't vote in that poll even if I was paid to. It overly simplifies by asking "Should sales of heavy weapons be reported to the FBI?" with "Yes", "No" and "I don't know" as the only possible answers. It completely ignores that under current federal law the sale and possesion of automatic weapons and destructive devices are already reported to the Feds (BATFE). It is a misleading poll.

Hey, remember he's looking out for the "folks" or whatever he calls us commoners and great unwashed.. Just another believer that government can create "fairness".

I like Bill and watch him religously. But that was the most rediculous and ignorant BS I have heard lately. If AK47's were "Heavy Weapons" the Syrian rebels would have taken the goverment already. GEEEEEEEZ get informed Bill.

Same here.

Heads up with this poll, last night the % in favor of NO was 66.98%, today it's 62.62%. There's no mistake on these numbers I'm possitive about this. I copied and pasted the poll results in my notebook. Somebody wants things to look differently then they are the way I'm seeing it.

I could not agree with you more. I do agree with him about 85% of the time but he was so off base on this topic it was embarrassing. He is like that every time he talks about gas prices and the big bad oil companies also. Just because he went to Harvard doesn't mean he knows everything and his Heavy Weapons rant proved that again! Bill, as you would say" Wise up!"

Bill is not a Patriot by using ill information, therefore he is a PINHEAD!!!
LOL

I wish Bill had told me I could have walked into a gunshop and bought a machine gun before I spent all that time filling out forms, finger print cards and the like before sending them off to BATF for an approved Form 4.

Seems Bill skipped right past the BATF, guess he doesn't have clue what they do.

Heavy weapons. Is hard on the back.

I suppose AK-47's could be technically labelled "heavy weapons" seeing that the mule died in the dessert and one had 10,000 semi-auto loading rifles to carry by oneself Fast & Furiously across the border into Mexico :)

It wasn't possible to view the entire video clip, because Spill O'reilly's out from the closet flaming liberal opinning on this issue is sickening, yet somewhat expected.

Hey Bill, if you wish to opine don't be mac-ro-ceph-a-lous or mac-ro-ce-phal-ic.

In all due respect, at one time one had to turn on CNN or MSNBC to get the liberal viewpoint on key issues. Today? Just turn on Fox News. If they are the most watched news outlet in America, then Fox is solely responsible for getting the liberal message out to the masses.

I say that with sadness. I don't want "fair & balanced", because it is anything but fair and balanced. I want the Conservative, Constitutional viewpoint, If i want to hear from a libby. One should at least be forced to switch the channel to MSNBC or CNN !!

Sorry for ranting men, it just hurts to see what is becoming of America, and is unwittingly being helped in that direction by people claiming supposed "opposition" to socialism.

Sincerely
Hank

BATF is more regulatory compliance than investigation. Just 5000 personnel to collect tax and proof all food grade alcohol, collect tax and ensure cigarettes self-extinguish per regulations, ensure compliance of codes in blasting operations (mines, roads, demolition), and finally insure the American firearms industry remains top notch. I hope this was the direction o'l Billy Boy was going by mentioning FBI involvement.

Bill doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground when it comes to firearms and regulations. He has no clue about the functions of the FBI and ATF.

his latest rant on this subject convinced me 1. he is a blow h.ard, 2. he is either ignorant or stupid or both and 3. I exercise my power over my channel selector and choose not to Catch him... I prefer Cavauto. He is polite, smart and debates with class and doesnt shout folks down

If O'Rielly keeps this up he will find his audience rapidly diminishing, which is perhaps happening so he has to go for a more "moderate" audience.
