Wow this is the greatest thing I ever bought for any weapon. After placing it onto a MagPul 30 rounder I was finished loading it in about two minutes or less. I was reluctant to purchase it though and having seen it all over for $29.95 I saw one at Academy Sports for $24.95 so I used one of my credit cards and also threw in 20 rounds of Remington 223 ammunition for $7.99.

After loading all my mags with ease it is truly a must have and even at 30 dollars it is well worth the price!

This might not be the first post about this product but man I am very happy with my purchase, I believe anyone else that buys or owns one will agree after they use the darn thing!

I saw it and thought about buying one, but I've found that curling my index finger around the casing and pushing the cartridge in with my thumb makes it a lot easier and faster to fill the magazine. Before I was holding the cartridge between my thumb and middle finger then pushing down with my index finger. If i see one for $10 or less I might give it a try but so far a change of technique has helped.

I know it is easy to load mags by hand but if you actually buy one of these loaders you will see why I am so happy about the less than 50 dollar purchase.

It is of course an accessory like a bipod or a gun rest but much cheaper and like I said it is much cheaper than either one of the two mentioned!

To each his own but if I have to go to a range without loaded mags and want to compete in any sort of match then it is almost a necessity, but that is me!

I'm definately not knocking you, they are usefull. I got one with my .22 and if I ever leave home without it I won't be filling the 25 round mag past 10. I like the slow load method so my rounds last longer at the range lol.

Nope ........ it's not just you ....... I wouldn't be without them for my different mags.
Better than sliced bread! :)

I have one for my AR mags, would love to find one for my pistol mags and my marlin 795 10 round mags

i got the Strip Lula and LOVE it

works with striper Clips or loading 10 in the strip.... Loads 30 in like 30seconds

Can reload all 6 mags in the field in just minutes...

Yup another accessory ya gotta have for sure

I'm looking for something similar to that strip. But I want one that holds 30rnds. I bought a cetme armorers kit for my cetmes and it had one in it. It's like a tray you clip mag in then put rounds in it close a lid then slide the slider. Talk about quick 30rnd reloads.

I loaded my surefire 60 ONCE. Upon completion I grabbed my keys and didn't come back til I found one of these. Agreed, one of the best investments ever. I grab the plastic part that holds your 20 rds in my left hand and push one round out with my thumb, than move your right thumb on the lever and voila! I got pretty quick at it, just alternating thumbs til the rds are loaded. Loaded 30 rds in 22 secs is my fastest. So my theory of time is in fact worth something, therefore use it wisely pays huge dividends here.

Hey there Grover!

Here's the Lula site: maglula, Ltd. > Home

I they don't have what you are looking for, they do have a survey of sorts, asking what you want them to make ..... to a degree.

Like most stuff, street prices vary ........

I have the pistol loader and it is awesome. I am going to get the AR15 loader also.

The bench loader looks like what I need to load all of my mags for a range trip.

They (Maglula) produce very fine equipment, that saves time and your hands.

They also save money on range time if your state laws prohibit you from traveling with loaded magazines.

Loaded magazines or speedloaders in Ohio are considered a loaded firearm by theirself if you are non concealed carry permit holder.

Took a look at that as well. Then I saw the price!
At over $400 MSRP I'll get the strip loader or the other single loader.

Thanks, it looks like they have all of my magazine's covered except for maybe my Marlin 795 and I will have to ask over in the Marlin Owners Group!!!

use the pistol uplula for glock 32 round magazines for sub2k and ambidextrous glock26gen4 and
the lula .223 loader for the sport, both save a fair amount of time at the range.

McMalice asked for a cheaper alternative. I've been using a Thermold Mag Charger since April. I bought it mainly based on price since it was only $13 from Brownells. Not under $10, but close. ;)

It works well, but the Lula does look to be be easier to load individual rounds into since it only has the one channel for the cartridge rim. The Thermold has a second channel that the bullets slot into.

My biggest problem with the Thermold is that while it has the second channel to guide the bullet, this channel doesn't apply any pressure against the bullet. So the first round inserted will tend to rotate 90° at the rim if left unsupported. I've ended up using the index finger of my off hand guide the first few rounds into the loader.

Short video of my Thermold loader in action.

I have the StripLULA for the AR and the pistol mag LULA for my 9mm. Both are very good products and after trying to load rounds 10-15 on the Cougar/Beretta mags, it was money VERY well spent!
I looked at the bench loader referenced above, but it's not recommended for plastic mags. Not that I would spend that much money on a loader.

There is a version for Pmags now, but I agree, they are a little pricey.
