More Hollywood stupidity

So the wife's watching a DVR'd copy of Bluebloods tonight. In the span of 15 minutes I hear/see:

1. A woman sitting in a limo shot and killed. She's shot through the side window, yet the entry's dead front on.

and my favorite

2. The shell casings are 10mm they find, one character says those are rare, then the other mental midget/character says "except in gang shootings, they use them."

Hollywood is to stupid to breath and I need an Tums to watch those Wahlberg smucks. They make their living playing character's with guns, yet they oppose them every time they can.

Maybe it's just me.....

It's not just you. Hollywood has so many clowns infiltrating it, it should tour as the world's largest circus. And for the record, I can't digest the hypocrisy of "actors" like Wahlberg, Clooney, et al who make a living shooting things up on the big screen, but don't approve of those naughty firearms off screen.

The one that gets me is when a character draws his gun and there's a hammer cocking sound and the gun's a Glock.
Also when they open a revolver and spin the cylinder there's a spinning ratchet sound then they do the "wrist flick" to close it.

A couple more, the sound of taking the safety off of a Glock and having to rack the slide to shoot someone in the middle of the gun battle.

wanna know what the truly scary thing is? they make millions of dollars doing this, and the general masses eat it up. so maybe they aren't too stupid to breathe. i bet they have a Tums every time they read a fictional un-realistc scene, or they just look at their paycheck...i bet that they don't care...they get paid either way.

If you are using money as a measuring stick for value, or success/worth and intelligence, you might need to rethink your values and evaluation process.

Yep. I shook my head a couple of times during that episode of Blue Bloods!!!!!

The "kids" in Hollyweird these days have absolute no knowledge about much of anything!!

I like the people that are thrown around when shot by handguns. It is also fun to watch the actors playing super-duper commandos blink when they shoot.

I'm surprised about this happening on Blue Bloods, they've been fairly good in the past. I know Selleck is a gun guy and would think he'd know better.

You cannot top this week's episode of CSI NY when they "matched the unfired 9mm cartridges found in the magazine with the ones registered to you in CODIS proving that your gun was used in the crime!"

I too watched Blue Bloods and saw all the supposedly bullet holes in the street side of the limo, yet the future bride in the back seat took a direct hit from the front. Don't make a lot of sense. I think Tom Selleck looks better on a horse than he does with black hair and black mustache and little bitty too small glasses on his head. Don't get me wrong Tom is one of my favorite and I like what he stands for I am just saying he makes a better cowboy. Hollywood won't take the chance on westerns anymore. What a shame.

There was an episode of NCIS LA where the bad guys used AKs and an NCUS agent found an empty AK mag and said how rare these were and if they left it they must have been in a hurry. If its so rare i should be rich, i have a drawer full of AK47 mags!

But seriously i watch these shows for entertainment not for accuracy. Its all make believe.

Oh and even if Sellek is a gun guy doesnt mean he is their advisor and sits in on every scrip writing and every screen shot to make sure they have their guns and gun lingo down correct.
