I can't wait!!!

Yes it will fit in standard mag pouches.

dumb question :)
but i have a suggestion, if possible, you sh ould make the lip of the mag out of metal, because my smith and wesson polymer mags both have the problem of the rim of the .22 rounds bending the thin polymer lips, and rounds accidentily popping out of the top of my mag(not sure of the the technical term is for this). especially when the mag is fully loaded and slammed into the gun, during fast and or tactical reloads.

any idea on time frame when these would be available for sale?

Then something's happened to the mags. The polymer lips are very strong. Most of the mags used by the military are polymer with polymer lips. Even the guys shooting several thousand rounds a month in competition aren't reporting such problems.

same thing

That is the same problem I was having, real pain to load. But some one on here told me I didn't know how to load it. Gee Guess I'm not so stupid after all.
Have a great one.

Whoa I can't wait for this! Keep up the good work. Is there a list going for when these are completed?

No list at the moment. I will let everyone know when its ready to go. I'm anxious to get these out to everyone.

I'm not sure how much you are familiar with the operation of the 15-22 mag, or how much you use it but the mags will bind or jamb a .22 round if trying to load in a hurry or when it is 2/3 full. Keep in mind the mags used by the military or anyone else for that matter use a completely different style and caliber. The 15-22 mag is much narrower and steps into it are completely different than the 556. This is the same concern I stated earlier in this link and you seem to think that I did not know how to load it. Looks like I'm not the only one.
Funny how that works out.

Like Majorlk Stated, I have not heard of the stock S&W mag bending from anyone. Not saying its not possible just depends on how your maintaining the magazine. The structure of the stock mag is strong and durable. Do you have any pics available for us to see?

Most 5.56 poly mags I've seen have metal lips,
I've always loaded my mags correctly, but yet both of them have the same issue.
I've got four more arriving anyday here so ill do a little it of testing,
I know that metal lips would add a lot to the production cost, but it would greatly increase the magazines lifespan and quality,
Maybe a development down the road?
DoomsdayTactical HighCap Mag V2.0?

Ive treated the mags relatively well, bench shooting mostly, a few hard reload but deeefinetly not torture tested.
Here are the best pictures I could get with my crappy iPod camera.
Also this uploaded via my iPod,
So I have very limited upload apabilities

The last pic looks like the magazine is splitting down the middle. (as in, separating at the seam) Is that the case, or is it supposed to be like that?

That is more likely and has been reported by others. I have 12 mags and store them loaded (although I empty them several times a week :D) and they aren't splitting and the feed lips certainly aren't flexing.

Mine aren't either. I thought he might've had a different magazine.

i keep 5 dummy rounds in mine, simply because i have no better place to put them, and yes is does look like my mag is splitting down the middle slightly, although the lips are definetly bent out of shape.

stock magazine, not much hardcore use, both of them have the splitting lip issue, only my gun original mag (about a yea rolder then the other one) has the splitting spine issue.
