Mine is always bare as well. You have to stumble upon what you need now a days...

We have a walmart that always has a 10 box limit and then we have a Walmart a few miles from it that has no limit. I think it just depends on the store.

I am a trainer for a wireless company, and I visit on average 7 different walmarts in the Northwest. I have talked to the store managers and the zone managers regarding there ammo. The store manager usually leaves it to the zone managers discretion on how many they will sell at a time. In my territory only 2 of 37 stores have a limit.

No rationing here at my Wal-Marts either but like others bare shelves. Just got back from Dicks in Martinsburg WV they had 6 bulk ammo can of winchester m22 2000 rds each $109.00 on the shelf and some smaller boxes behind the counter juts bought 5 k .22 and 500 .45acp so funds were low to buy more. They had a 2 box limit.. Didn't see any pistol ammo

Just curious how they are enforcing this...are they making you show i.d. to buy ammo, and keeping track of who buys what?

One near me started a 6 box limit. Their shelf was bare. Most around here don't have any limit. Lucked out and actually found CCI for the first time in months yesterday. Bought all but one. I always leave one for the next guy. Also was shocked to see .40 100 pack federal and tula .45 that I grabbed.

Self imposed rationing here. Stumbled on a few boxes here and there in the local area and have built up a small reserve. If I go to the range I force myself to only shoot what I can replace. Drives up the cost of range visits but until the backorder clears out and the situation gets clarified I guess this is life for a while....or until I execute my new years resolution and invest in reloading.

BTW: One site I regularly visit shows expected delivery for ammo. July and August for my favorite ammo. I might have to invest in some ammo company stock

there are a couple in shreveport,La that have ammo, that are doing the one box per customer per day. alot of the walmarts in the area along with academy, basspro and the like are still bare. about the only place to buy ammo right now are the pawn shops, but the prices are thru the roof
