where would you call home

I am allready in what I think is the best state to survive in.
I am not sure we would still be the least populated state in the U.S.

well some interesting replys
i like that so many are comfortable with where they are now.
i was raised in "The Sportsmans Paradise" state, but due to job transfer have lived in Illinois since age 12.
i would be tempted to go "home", but i think ms. tork'd may have a different plan due to family in Illinois.
i agree with post that we need to watch what we say and put on pages like these, however, we need to show that we are to be heard.
this is the best forum going in MHO.
l like to hear the differing oppinions and spirited dialog.
thanx for the replys guys/gals.

My eldest son is a "prepper" he is always talking about things he thinks he'll need. I try and impress upon him that he'd better be standing next to his supplies when it does go down, 'cause his chances of getting to his stuff is greatly diminished.

Y'all might take a lesson from Colorado & Tejas. Anybody moving there from California must sign a statement saying they will not try to bring California with them.

Uttering any statement about "How we do it in California" could be a hangin' offense. :D

Uhhh, you might do some checking on Colo. The Guvner and the entire legislation are now Dem's and are beginning the new session with at least 6 anti laws on the agenda.

We'll probably just dig in right here, but we've got an alternate very deep in the northwoods if we can get there and there might be still be a couple of guns at the bottom of the lake where they fell out of the boat...

Pack it all up and move to the Philippines. Good people, English spoken, decent weather, excellent diving and fishing, great produce and raw materials, telecommunications and infrastructure improving dramatically, land is still inexpensive, firearm friendly......and reminds me of Home.

I'm staying put. Plenty of hunting, plenty of fishing plus we got an indian casino just down the road:D

Might haveta put Looz'yan on the table. I know where all the booze & cigars will be. :D

My point exactly. Thank you...;)

And just remember , Washington DC , Maryland and Delaware , some of the worst anti-gun republiks , are BELOW the Mason-Dixon line!

I don't think you can but Delaware in the same "class" as those anti-gun cities and states. We are pretty much able to do what PA does - the only difference is that a CCL in DE is more involved but it is a "shall" issue state. Buying a firearm is as simple as in PA - I've done it in both states - walk in, put your money down and walk out (after bkgd check) - and Delaware has no sales tax!

I am prepared to make do here in Florida if need be. I hope things hold together long enough for me to retire and move out west in ten years.
