Here's an easy way to register your opposition to the new AWB bill introduced by DF.

And check out the other new bills as well- there are other polls to hit on online ammo sales, magazine capacity, and gun buy backs as well.

It doesn't take long to do, and your votes for or against do get sent to your representatives and senators. We need to show them that we are watching them, and that we are not going to let our rights be legislated away!

I would, but PopVox really needs to fix their servers. It's a real downer when you type a very eloquent statement in opposition to S. 150 only to receive a "504 Gateway Timeout" message after trying to register and post it.

Sorry if I offended anyone, I though this to be my First Amendment Rights. All I was saying is this is all water under the bridge if we continue to elect anti-gun politicians.

Last time I checked, the polls aren't open again for nearly 2 years, 4 for the pres. Little late for crying about Obama at this point.

That can make a difference. It's just another way to contact your elected reps, and it is fast and easy. It's not substitute for phone calls, writing emails, or supporting candidates, but it is a valid way to make your view known to your elected representatives.

If you don't speak up and make your views known to them, you are throwing away the best opportunity we have to stop new restrictions before they are law. We want to stop these anti-gun, citizen disarmament schemes in committee if possible, before they ever get to the floor the House or Senate. If any of them get that far it may be too late. So get on the stick and contact your reps. Or suffer through what comes after.

You can also register your approval or disapproval on other firearms related bills, not just SB150. There is even HJ Res 15 sponsored by a NY congressman that would eliminate the 22nd Amendment. The 22nd limits the President to 2 terms. There is good information on Popvox with the ability to express your position on pending legislation.

Yes. Jose Serrano has been reintroducing that bill for some time now. I don't want to think of the ramifications should that bill ever take effect.
