Not to mention an unauthorized modification,possible patent infringement,liability when some one "puts "one" through their foot. Great idea,but be careful and DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

How would this be his liability? All he did was give someone a little piece of plastic, their the ones that removed their safety.

Thanks, but you made them. I sanded them down to make them a little more flush to the frame. Here is a pic from the side.

What kind of paint did you use and what finish eg:flat semi gloss and brand is it made for plastic?

Based on joblin's recommendation I got a jar of acrylic paint. I bought it at Jo Ann Fabric for about $2.50 and have enough to last a life time, and then some The brand I got is called Folk Art Outdoor

No, they come in the smooth white plastic that is shown early on in this thread. Mine just turned out that way from the paint.
