I see your names come up often in posts and threads. Can you tell us a little about yourselves. I'll start.

I'm 57. Only had a bb gun when I was a kid, got an HD revolver when I got a home to defend. I decided that while HD was necessary, I enjoyed shooting a lot more than just waiting around until I needed to use it, so I started acquiring guns. I had to retire way too early so budget for shooting/reloading has been tight, but I'm pushing on. We adopted a son rather late in life who is 13 now and seems to like shooting a lot. I read a lot of ya'll talking about how hunting/shooting with your relatives are some of your fondest memories and I like that. Hope my son feels the same way. I'm into music, reading and chess. We live in the (as of now) :)GUN-FRIENDLY:) state of SC.

I frequently ask myself that, as I look at this increasingly old guy in the mirror. :p

I'm 62, retired, married for 34 years, have three grown sons, and my hobbies are handguns and motorcycles (though my riding these days is very limited.) I also like to read and watch movies.

I was born and raised in Texas, but have lived in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida during my working days. I grew up hunting and fishing, but haven't done either one in years. The first gun I owned was a single shot .22 rifle (I don't remember the make/model.) The first handgun I ever bought was a S&W Model 19, right after I got out of the Navy. I also bought a Model 27, a Model 28, a Colt 1911, a Colt SAA, and a Colt Python. I had to sell them all to pay bills while I was in college...I sure wish I had them today!

East Tennessee native here, lived in Louisville most of my life. I'm 75, widowed, with two middle-aged kids who live hundreds of miles away. My son is a very good hunter and fisherman and to my delight is raising his three boys to be the same.

I can't hunt anymore--COPD, and kinda crippled up with all-over arthritis--but still fish when I can. When concealed carry became legal in Kentucky about fourteen years ago I got my license soon afterward and have carried daily since.

I've owned guns most of my life. Have a huge appreciation of S&W revolvers.

I'm 50 years old, I'm of Native American descent, specifically Blackfoot and I'm married to an Italian woman. While I enjoy shooting all kinds of guns, K frames, L frames, full size autos, rifles, shotguns and others, I've always preferred little guns. Small .22 and .25 autos and particularly S&W J frames. Since I have a CCW and carry a 442 in a homemade leather holster either on my belt or in my pocket I feel my preference is justified.
I make custom leather holsters, knife sheaths, wet molded pouches and whatever else pops into my head. I also do woodworking and I make custom Indian jewelry. We enjoy hiking, backpacking, mountain biking or just floating along the local river relaxing and drinking a cold beer.
Recently I've been diagnosed with Multifocal motor nueropathy (MMN), it's a less lethal form of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease, is manageable and I won't lose the ability to eat or breathe. The condition in manageable but not curable. I've been getting treatments and showing improvment and I had my first appointment at a physical therapist today. My condition is degenerative and I know any improvement I have will only be temporary and I'll continue to degenerate, I'm glad I have a good wife.
We used to live in the Washington DC area about four miles from the Pentagon and the day after 911 as I was dropping my wife off in a cloud of black smoke coming off the Pentagon and as the radio was playing "We gotta get out of this place," we decided to pull up roots and move to a small town nestled in a hollow in the West Virginia mounains. We never regretted that decision. The only real problem we've run into here is that the locals apparently don't approve of interracial marriages. We've had trash thrown in our backyard, obscenities written on the windows of our vehicles and fires lit on our front porch. We've called the police who of course did nothing and apparently act as stormtroopers for the "very religious" people in town, so we got our carry permits and ever since I let it slip to my neighbor that I carry a gun, the trouble's stopped.

There's nothing wrong with that!

My wife and I gave all our children two or three suitable first names, so when they got old enough, they could pick the one they's liked best.

Now y'all know someting about me you didn't before.
