ProMag Order

Brownell's had something similar happen on pmags. They found the problem and said it was a software glitch. Three hundred people got bumped to the front of the line that ordered over a month after some people.

I hope everyone is serious that have recently placed orders and are getting them, and not just trying to stir the pot. I have an order for 6 from 1/25 that is still processing. Tried to call them today and they say they aren't talking calls about orders and you need to email them.

I can be pretty mischievous, but usually only in person, not just stirring the pot ordered Monday 2 mags, received shipped email this morning just rechecked email, no tracking number though. I will follow up once delivered. I was thinking I would be in for a month or so wait based on all of the post's from everyone.:)

Guys, there is the answer to all of the questions. Promag is using the same program that Brownells is using! BTW- Brownells never said they fixed the problem. They stated that they had FOUND the problem. Just a thought,IDK. Maybe Botach will start shipping now. Wouldn't that be great! We could only wish. In any event I hope promag gets this sorted out for everyone.

I just find it hard to believe that promag cant seem to understand how to count. Each one of us had a numerical order number. Just cant believe they skipped over what i assume are thousands of orders without noticing either a order number that is too recent or date ordered too recent. I honestly dont desperately need any mags right now but it would be nice if they could get their **** straight. Im halfway thinking of just putting in another order just to see

I still haven't received my order placed on Jan 8th, haven't gotten a reply from my email either. But after seeing all of these orders being placed and getting a shipping notice within a couple days I thought I'd go ahead and try again, I can always cancel one or both. One thing that I noticed, my first order number was in the 20,000 and my second was over 40,000.

Yep i just ordered again and ill cancel the older one if the one i placed today ships...i just didnt want to be overlooked and NEVER have that order filled since my original order was high 20k and now they are on 40k It cant be blamed on being backordered its just poor business/ software/whatever excuse they will have. Hope they are on top of the issue. Ill see the mags when i see em no big deal

I just ordered again also. Will be fun to see what happens.

Order placed 01-18... processing
Order placed 02-21... processing

I just placed another order for 2. Lets spin the wheel and see who gets their order shipped :)

You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Maybe they only fill orders on even number days? Or maybe just on odd days for an even number magazines? Or every other order? Or maybe they print all the orders, put them in a hat and draw a couple for that day?

:p

Wish you all luck, I personally just wanted to let you all know what was going on. It's a computer maybe it somehow crashed and lost orders who knows, but hopefully it will work out for you all. Just sent pm to 3 of you.

No, they did say they had corrected the problem.

Got my order for one 32 promag delivered yesterday 2/20 ordered on 1/21. No shipping notice.

Only thing is the situation has been frustrating when you order something over 6 weeks ago and then said they had in stock at the time you expect the product before people who order a week ago.

I placed an order on Feb 3rd....got a confirmation email on the 5th, but nothing else since then.

I ordered some last night and they were on my doorstep this morning- simply unbelievable!

Seriously, ProMag appears to really be screwing up, no surprise there.
I'm going to try my darndest to contact them today via email, phone and fax.
We deserve an explanation as to why people who ordered over a month ago have received nothing where some very recent orders are shipping right out.

Good luck, when I finally got someone one phone yesterday and called them out on it I got hung up on

yesterday i was able to modify the 10rd mag that they were willing to ship to me in OH. There is a long plastic bar that runs within the spring to stop it at 10rd. I took apart the entire mag (the stop on the bottom has to holes i just cut a wire hanger and bent into a U shape to get both of them). I then cut the plastic bar down in a rough shape matching the original design (I left about 1.5" of plastic under the follower) and then filed it to a smooth U shape also. Put the follower and the spring back in, screw the outer case back together and then compress the spring back inside the mag.
Loaded mine up w/ 30 Mini Mags and had room for 1 or 2 more.
I plan to take this to the range either this weekend or next to test it out. Will post another update.
My thoughts are this way to long to consider using as just a 10rd mag, unless you have no choice. The mag seems to pretty well built, one of the screws did just spin when tightened back up so be careful not to strip them. Entire process (not including loading) took about 15 minutes.
