M&P .22LR 12rd Magazines

It seems anything .22 related is hard to get, especially Mags & Ammo. I got lucky and got two a couple of weeks ago at one of my LGS. I cannot find one for my Ruger SR22 anywhere though. I had an alert at Midway to email me when they got an SR22 mag in stock. Went to the link and sold out already.

I picked up a back-order I had from my LGS before all this started along with Shield mags. I thought about a few more,but NO WAY will I pay these crazy prices.

10 rounds are in stock at CTD & Grabagun. I saw someone say they can be easily made into 12 rounds by removing the plastic limiter.

I just ordered mine directly from S&W as they are accepting back-orders without gouging ... I am just tired of looking everyday and wanted to queue up my order.

I feel that same way. I too have looked everywhere and no one and I mean no one has them - unless you are willing to pay $115 on Ebay. You can backorder from S&W, Cabellas but I don't believe that they are giving any timetable on availability.
Don't like the fact that S&W only gives you a single mag with the gun. They should have provided 2-3 given how quickly one can burn through 22LR. I would have been willing to purchase additional mags but simply cannot. Crazy.
I guess that the silver lining to this is that I will have to reload 12 rounds each time I fire the pistol which will force me to shoot fewer rounds and conserve ammo. Probably not too bad of an idea when I see 22LR at auction starting at $60 for a brick of 500+.

Just bought 1 yesterday, love the gun feels great, If I had known that you can not find extra mags I would have looked at another gun, sorry but I feel like that S&W has dropped the ball when they only supply the gun with 1 mag only!!

This might be old news ,but if you have the M&P .22 10 round S&W OEM you can make it a 12 round . On the bottom is a small detent pin , push it in gently , then push the bottom off, (dont let the guts fly out) take the little silver pill off the spring seat , and reassemble . Done , 12 round mag , dont know where to find any though.

I really wanted a MP22, but the big negative to me was only one magazine supplied. Really a terrible idea for any manufacturer to only supply one with any semi auto. Minimum of 2 or no sale.
I went with the Ruger SR22 instead. 2 mags, 2 different floor plates for each mag, and 2 different grips. Good overall package at about the same price point.
