Careful with Hunter's Warehouse

Guys, I may be wrong ... but because I haven't heard of Hunter's Warehouse I'll say this. I went through the checkout process and when I got to the credit card entery it didn't show a secure link (https://) on the page for credit card entry. That is a red flag. That and the fact that they have not sold out in the first 10 minutes they listed. I felt funny about ordering from them. If somebody has done business with them, please correct me!

I think I looked at that before and was a little suspicious when they wanted like $60 for shipping.

No the shipping for my order was $8.50. I'm really hoping they are a legit site.

Looks like its been checked on and is legit. I am kinda worried on the previous post that their checkout is not https: secure site.

My card has been charged from Hunters warehouse. No other off the wall charges. I feel shipping was not outrageous. I still have a feeling I might get an email on Monday saying back ordered. I will let you all know when and if I hear something.

My card also has been charged but like you I have no other off the wall charges on it so I am hoping all was okay there. I'm also wondering about an email showing up saying they are actually out of stock.

Thanks for pointing out your concerns. I too purchased ammo from them this time and took things for granted that everything was OK with this site without checking it out. Everything I can find looks as if this is legit. I hope so. If anyone finds out anything else on this site please post the info for all.

gunbroker.com has lots of .22LR if you want to pay $.15 per round and up. Most of the sellers want money orders or certified checks. Very few will take PayPal. I did not see anyone willing to take credit cards. Use the Buy Now option to filter out the auctions.
