I came across this article from abcnews.com. Delaware (the state I live in) has always had pretty descent gun laws but now our elected officials are trying to drastically change things. I wish my local officials would act more like the officials in this article. Several police officials and/or political officials are stating they won't reinforce the new proposed laws and some have actually said they are wanting to pass laws to arrest federal agents who show up in their state trying to enforce them. Another even posted they will not use any funds from their state to infringe on any lawful gun biding citizen.

I have always been proud to be a native Texan, and I am very glad that I live in a state that has such great traditions and strong support for the Constitution, as well as the rights and freedoms of all citizens.

I feel sorry for anyone living in states like New York, California, Illinois, Colorado, and any other states who don't have the same regard for their citizens. I hope that the elected officials in those states feel the brunt of the betrayal of their constituents in the next election cycle.

There are goobers here looking to add restrictions as well.

Is it true Texas doesn't allow open carry or printing? I never understood that.

Here in PA you can OC at before you're old enough to buy a handgun.

Currently no open carry in Texas, but there is legislation up right now to address open carry and accidental exposure/printing.
