to start it off...kind of fun to aim for the pressure gauge. I actually shot the pin out...unintentionally.

I like shooting bowling pins.

1st shot knocks them down,then shoot them at either top or bottom to make them spin while their laying on their side.

Eggs, Ballons, and hot cans of Schlitz

• Bust'n cheapo cans of beer (Schlitz or whatever 24 pack is on sale at Food Lion) is a hoot!
  
• Hang balloons on wooden dowels at 10 yard intervals out to 100 yards.
  
• Eggs make a really gross splatter.
  
• Got some 22lr sensitive tannerite, but it's finicky. Works better with .223 rounds

The season is so close I can see them when I shut my eyes.

For you bowling pin fans, take 5 bowling pins and cut the heads off. Then line the pins up (with heads resting on the bodies) 3 in the back and 2 in the front. Now set back to the 50 yard line and try to shoot the heads off all of them before cleaning off any bodies. A clean run is 10 shots. It's difficult because you need to hit them so they don't take out any of the others.

This is the one shooting game I saw on "Top Shot" that I could actually use at my range.

I take the little stakes with flags for marking your yard and such and tie balloons to them. It's a bit of prep work, but if you funnel in some flour before you blow them up it makes a nice lil "poof" when hit.
