I have a Model 28 that has the letters GET and what looks like a serial number under it. This is on top of the crane done with an electropenical.My thoughts were a private handgun kept in a military arms room??? any one want to take a guess???

Years back it was common for someone to put their initials and some sort of ID number - maybe it is George Edward Tool and his driver's License number
