Seriously. I was getting ready to discard what appeared to be junk mail-a letter from blue cross with the bulk mail stamp that I almost chucked in the can. But something told me to open it....
In it was a message from the president of the company noting that a review of my claims history indicated that I has not yet taken the advantage of their coverage for cancer diagnostic testing and that I should schedule my pap smear and mammogram.
I don't think so scooter. I'm drawing the line in the sand here.

They sent you the wrong letter. They need a lawyer to observe those procedures to make sure they are doing them right at the Blue Cross Clinic for Obese Women, on the bayou, of course.

Are you saying I wasn't supposed to let them do that? I should check the forum more often.

C'mon Caj. Just suck it up and do it.

With all these colonoscopy threads going around lately, a mammogram should be a walk in the park. :D :D

My brother was told he had breast cancer. He when to the doctor after his wife a lump one his man boob. They got it in time. Now me and my 2 other brother have to go in for x-rays.

Many years ago I was being treated at Boston City Hospital for an on the job injury. This entailed going to one of the clinics now and again for follow up. Clinics = wait. To pass the time I thumbed through my chart which someone had helpfully left in the room with me. In it was my pre employment physical (passed), a couple of notes on previous visits for this or that, and the record of my current injury. Also in the folder was a negative pregnancy test.

I pointed that out to the doctor who came in to see me. His response was that it was no big deal "Stuff like that happens all the time. They don't hire the smartest people to work in medical records."

Very reassuring.

That was the last time I was treated at Boston City Hospital.

HUMMMMM!
I do know that men die of breast cancer.
I also know that men die.
I don't know about a pap smear but a Pabst used to be a good beer.
I am thinking it is a "sign" and you may actually be a woman---maybe you should check that out. Now it don't mean nothing if you has been wrong all these years---let that part go and do the right thing.
I think, personally, that you will find you have been a man all along and I might consult with a lawyer about a defimation of character law suit-----now don't do this on your own---a lawyer who has hisownself as a client thing--you know.
Anywho-----it's your call.
Blessings
