The 2013 NHL Hockey Playoff Thread

Frist time Match up in 40 years (1973)

1.Steve Vickers/Ken Hodge
2.Bobby Orr
We should see some good hockey tonight. Two great goalies and very defensive teams. Maybe we will go to OT at double goose eggs.:D;) We can only hope.

Now if the B's can solve Lundqvist a little earlier they will be ok.

Drop the puck already.

We got through Duck season and this aint just Wabbit season. We got our hands full this round

Go Wings

Someone playing tonight? :D

Labworm likes both teams so much he's standing there beside himself :D

It sure started slow but it picked right up in the 2nd. I bet this one goes 7.:D

Good old fashion hockey:cool:
Bruins pull out a win.

Hockey amazes me, two teams looked totally different tonight compared to what they looked like in their first rounds.

Lundqvist was swattin' away pucks all game, seemed like a 1,000 , not enough though. :(
See ya next game ;)

I watched Rick Nash play in Columbus for over 10 years. I was all for him moving on as he was no longer a fit and, like Gaborik, had to move on. He had some highlight reel plays during his tenure but lately? I've never seen anything like it. He's avoiding checks and tripping over his own skates. He wanders the perimeter aimlessly. His lack of engagement borders on disinterest. I WOULD NOT BE SHOCKED IF TORTS BENCHED HIM!!!

On the other hand the unexpected return of Derek Dorsett (who fractured his clavicle in March) gives you guys some badly needed attitude, IMO.

And the blossoming of Derrick Brassard is a joy to see.

Who knew I'd be cheering for the Rangers?

Blujax01...Like you,I have watched Nash for many years and seeing his current play makes me suspect that he is nursing some sort of injury.

Players like Sid the Kid just amaze me with their natural ability and skill. He was away from the game for weeks unable to eat right or do full workouts and he plays like he never had his injury. He's got something special for sure.:)

I am ready too. Let's see if Babcock's boys can answer.
GO HAWKS!!

We have a noon game today because of the Bulls playoff schedule, which is a mute point now.
Noon?? How are we supposed to have a festival at noon?
I want to watch hockey at night...not at noon. Now I will get all fired up, then....mow the lawn. :(
