Too Many Mags???

What is "too many" mags? I've never heard the correct answer.

I've got 2 x 10rnd shorts, 5 x 25rnd, and 6 x 32rnd mags. I only shoot the Promag 32's. From what I've read, some ranges charge by the hour, so loading up a lot of mags at home means less loading and more shooting at those types of ranges.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm sitting here wondering why you haven't bought a Black Dog 50 rd drum yet. Mine runs great. As a matter of fact, the day I took the rifle out for the first time, I kept loading the drum and never even tried the mag that came with the gun!

I had a few, 25's and 10's but they went away in a tragic boating accident... All my guns too! Now I just have a Red Rider and some empty gun cases at my house.

I'm up to (10) 25-round, (6) 32-round, (4) 35-round mags and (2) 50-round drums......and I still feel I need more! We now have (3) 15-22s in the house, but I find myself spending more on the 15T and M&P40 that I got a few weeks back. It's sad that my PMAGs were all cheaper than any 15-22 mag I've purchased. Funny how things change in so little time.

Midway USA just had some in recently, I ordered the maximum 2, I would like 5 for competions as well, go on the website and hit the notify button for them as they may get more in the future.

This thought process is the reason a lot of people can't get any mags right now, because people like you hoard them and charge a first born child for them. Same with ammo.

If you don't NEED them, leave them for someone who does.

If you're in walmart and see bricks of .22LR and have 10k rounds at home, leave the **** for people who don't have any ammo.

It wouldnt matter if he leaves them or not. The next hoarder behind him will snatch them up anyways. So we may as well join the hoarders and start hoarding ourselves, lol.

The only thing ive been hoarding lately is .300 blackout. On occasion i walk in and buy a box or 2 of golden bullets (because they are all over the place here). But for every few boxes I buy, i shoot them up in a few days anyways.

Like someone else said, "you can't have too many mags", with that statement I will confess that I have 7 factory 25rd. mags for my MP15-22 with 3 still new in the package as well as 2 Blackdog 50rd. drums. Of course my gun has a Slidefire stock and a CMC trigger so it can really eat up some ammo fast. For my AR-15 I have like 65 30rd. mags and 2 100rd. Beta-Mags and they are all loaded ready to rock and roll. Too many mags??? I say never too many mags.

You can't have two many mags.

They make great trading material during shortages. You can even give a couple of them to your friends when they buy their first AR. They will be forever grateful.

When you finally break down and get a dueling tree, you realize that there can't be too many mags. We shot all our Smith 25 rndrs then hit the PT 35 rndrs, no failures and had to load again.

The dueling tree, with some competitive shooters, can make the mags smoke. More fun can't be had with .22 semi-autos.

Then, of course, we hit the cowboy range and long distance with some nice lever-action .22 rifles, even more fun...

With the anti gunners hell bent on taking away every gun, gun accessory they can (and they will one day succeed), you can never have to many mags.

I don't go to training classes and probably will never use more than 5 or 6 AR mags for many years, I still put one in an order everytime I order from Midway or other site.

I've only got 5 15-22 mags and 1 50 rd drum. Thinking about ordering some more.
