New shield owner.

Just purchased a 9mm shield and in need of a holster. I use a crossbreed right now for my Keltec. And it works great, but wonder what you use before I decide?

I use Crossbreed Mini-tuck for IWB and DeSantis for OWB.

I really like the Crossbreed, the issue I have is the long delay between when you place you order and when you receive it, which is months.

I use an Old Faithful IWB and a Desantis Nemesis for when it's not IWB. Being a Michigan guy, you could also check out FoxX Holsters- similar to a Crossbreed or Old Faithful and located in Warren. I probably wouuld have bought something from them if I hadn't found OF first (love my holster, no regrets, OF is great!) and probably will in the future.

I currently use two holsters -- my regular is an IWB from Winthrop.

For the hot summer, I carry in my pocket or sometimes waistband with my Remora. Here are pictures of both.

Try HighNoon holsters in Florida. Well made and reasonably priced.

I use a DeSantis Ankle and hip holster, or a BlackHawk #4 Pocket holster for my 40 Shield, just depends on what I am wearing.

Plus 1 to the Old Faithful holsters. I have and IWB and outside belt loop of their's for my Shield Love'm I use the IWB for cc wear it all day don't even know it's thre. Great price and grantee. Don't like keep the Holster and get your money back. Just buy it off their ebay site much faster ship.

Howdy from Ohio...good to have you in the house! I use a FoxX Trapp (one on the right) for my IWB made right in your home state of MI in Detroit. Great product, price and customer service!

I've been using a Don Hume IWB, like it.

Get good leather - I use only DelFatti or Sparks. Get your belt from the same maker!

The belt is at least as important as the holster. Expect to pay several hundreds for the set. Also expect to wait months or years to get it.

Same place I was in a couple weeks ago. A Sticky Holster was suggested, and so far I really like it. Can use it IWB or pocket, simple, effective and works. $25 at Amazon.

I use a IWB by ETW holsters. I bought in on EBAY. It's a great all leather holster. It has a very thin profile, and you can tuck your shirt in. I absolutely love it. I wear it 10+ hrs a day.
