Because I regard the Shield as a pocket weapon, on the theory that if you want a pistol in a belt holster, you might as well get a bigger one, I vote for a good pocket holster.

You may want to investigate the Silent Thunder holster by Garrett. Silent Thunder Holsters - Concealed Carry (IWB and OWB) - Garrett Industries, LLC
The Silent Thunder is molded Kydex that is leather lined. The leather is much quieter than all Kydex or hybrid holsters
