My daily CCW gun is a 2" bbl. N Framed Model 327PC in .357 mag. I love the simplicity of revolvers and feel 8 rounds is all I will most likely need to stop a confrontation (I do carry a spare 8 round moon clip just in case). I purchased the 327PC years ago and seem to remember a similar Performance Center model but in 45ACP. It would have had a 1 7/8" or 2" bbl. if I remember correctly. Had a titanium cylinder and black alloy frame. I would like to add a snubbie N Frame 45ACP to my CCW stable.

Am I crazy or was there ever such a beast? If there was I want one. Anyone know what model number it was? Can't find any info on S&W's web site.

Thanks in advance,
LittleAce

Ugly, who you callin ugly??? Gotta get me one of them 325s as it would be a perfect mate for my 327PC. In fact that would work great in a "New York Reload" holster with my 327.

Erich, the gun you pictured is not a 325.

I have a 325sc (clear cote) and it has adjustable sights a 2.75 inch barrel with a red ramp front sight.

They made only 300 of those. It's the clear cote version of the standard production 325pd.

The one you pictured is a 625-10 or 11

I tried to attach pics of a 625-10 clear cote and a 625-10 black frame.

Don't know if it worked.

Sorry my post was a little direct.

Not at all, Dave! I appreciate the alertness, as I really hate to promulgate bad info. I did a sloppy image search and didn't take care in my post. I'm obliged to you for pointing it out, and I think you did it just fine.

Well, I'll probably get myself in trouble here.

But I never liked the looks of those revolvers.

All out of proportion. Big grip, big cylinder, no barrel.

It looks like someone in manufacturing got confused and forgot to put the barrel on.

In general, I like the looks of snub nosed revolvers.

But there is snub nosed, and no nosed, and these are no nosed.
