2 new guns for the fun of it

I have a satisfactory EDC pistol and a Model 36 and Model 17-2 (both from the 60's) but I decided I wanted to get a 22LR and a 9MM to have some fun at the range. Not specifically looking for target pistols, I went toward the lower end of the price spectrum and picked up these two...a Canik METE SFT (also for a nightstand gun) and a Taurus 942 Stainless (to join my TX22). The Canik has a 4.5" barrel, optics cut, very nice steel sights, an excellent trigger, and came with 18 and 20 round magazines and all the Canik goodies they put in a nice hard case. The Taurus is 8 rounds with a 3" barrel and the trigger is very good, on par with the Model 17. No time at the range yet (if its not too hot its raining cats and dogs) but looking forward to ringing some steel.

I have a Canik SFx Rival S and I really like it. I bought a Patriot Brown version of it for my son's college graduation.

My 5.2" Canik TP9 variant makes me look good on the range. My buddy says the trigger is so close that in his PPQ that the $150 saving is worth every penny.

I have a Canik SFx Rival S and I really like it. I bought a Patriot Brown version of it for my son's college graduation.

The SFx is awesome, I almost got one but decided on the SFT since it could be carried if I wanted.
