There have been a few dog posts lately so I know there are some dog fans out there. I think it's time for a show us your dog post. Picture, what it is, how old, and whats it's name.
This is my big black monster Teddy, he is a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland/Poodle. His is now 4 months old and counting. My wife says his name is Theodore D. Bear (hence Teddy or Teddy Bear) but I joke that we named him Ted after Ted Kazinski (I know, not THAT funny). He currently weights 50lbs haha.

This is Bob (Bobbi), my Old English Sheepdog. She's 9 years old and a rescue from the local club (my second rescue). People buy these as cute little puppies not realizing they grow into 100lb+, very hairy dogs that require a lot of grooming.

Buster is the little white mix breed, and probably the most aggressive dog I have owned. Bear is the dry mouth / non-shedding Saint Bernard. Gretchen is the 120 lbs Rotty lap dog, and Jake is my German Shepherd, as a pup for the first time in the snow, and grown up on a camping trip. Had all four at one time, but now its just Jake left... Like having a house full of kids....

This is Big Brown Dog. She was 17 when she died, last November.

I'm thinking about getting another dog.

Get one! Teddy is a replacement for the dog we recently lost Link, our Mini-Aussie. Here he is, he was 20 month old when we had to put him down because his liver failed. He was a terrorist! But we loved him. It is hard to be dogless.

Here's Tusker, my obstreperous 50-lb. red merle Aussie.

His cousin Gracie, a 6-year-old toy Aussie. This is an older shot. She will give birth to a litter sometime this week, possibly today.

Chauncey Gardner, or Mr. Chauncey, is my noble companion of 12 years. He was my pick out of a litter of boxer/lab mutts. Everybody who got a pup out of that litter says their dog was the best dog they ever had. The KTM isn't mine.

This is our 3-1/2 y.o. Great Dane, "Boo" on HER portion of our den sectional this morning (not to be confused with her portion of the couches, chairs, our bed, etc.....).

She gets up painfully early for "her business" and breakfast, then back to her morning nap!

After all, it's a dog' life!

This is our little man. We just got him home two weeks ago. His name is Petey Belle and he is a Cockapoo. He is now 12 weeks old and really keeping us on our toes. This is our first dog since losing our beloved lab 5 years ago. We had her for 10 years and before that we had a Mountain Cur for 15 years. We love this little man already and everyone thinks he is so cute. He is our first full time indoor dog. So very sweet.

After 43 years of highly trained, hunting, yellow

Labs I hung up the Duck Commander, put my last Lab down and then adopted "Poppy" the Papillion. He is a shelter dog, full blooded with papers. However, the gelding process has made certain he will not continue the lines.

He takes commands well. He can stand, run to the end of the leash, jump flatfooted straight up in the air (not unlike a trout trying to throw a hook) and act lame on command (he is down in the back). He can beg, jump all over you, and lick you like a popsicle. All of this by just reading my thoughts.

He is a great little fella. Had him about 6 years now. "Hey Pop, you wanna got back and live in the shelter?" He is jumping straight up in the air. Told you he was smart.

He is my Buddy.
