Is the shield sold in a tupperware container? So far, all I have seen is in the cardboard box, but one just showed up used in tupperwear?
Thanks
Thanks
I prefer paying for cardboard rather than plastic. I never used the original package after it gets home.
How much are you willing to pay for this upgrade?I think it is time that S/W should send all new weapons in a nice plastic box like Springfield Armory does !

They do. You actually paid extra for that holster and mag pouch combo. It's part of the range/carry kit. They could also leave out the mag holders and cheapo holster if it would reduce the cost.

Most M&Ps come with nothing. They sell them with super cheap plastic boxes because people believe they are getting some great thing in that box. It's all about marketing. The Shield was designed as a carry gun from the ground up. Maybe S&W thinks Shield owners will be carrying their guns all the time and are therefore less likely to be swayed by a useless plastic box.
Who gives a good flying **** about a plastic box? This is comical, only a fool would store their gun in one considering they're moisture magnets. I keep mine in case I have to send it back for warranty work or decide to sell, but to me it's a box that gets stored away and never used or looked at. Shield cardboard box works for me, it's smaller which means cheaper to ship if I ever need to.
