Those J frames just have a specal appeal!
Surprised no suggestions... Well I made the decision last night to send it to ROBAR and NP3 the whole gun, bob the hammer and put an XS "Big Dot" on the front sight. Shipped it yesterday, can hardly wait to get it back.I've like J frames myself a long time. I have five now. The most recent one is a 60-9 "No lock". It is chambered for .357 and has the hvy. barrel w/ shroud. Something about the heavier barrel I really liked. I do wish it was a centennial, but the price was right. I wanted to get rid of the carbon trigger and hammer. Already found a nice SS smooth trigger on GB, but I can't seem to find a hammer. I would like to get a bobbed hammer for it. I was told they never made SS hammers for this model. Any suggestions? Thx.

Nice Gun! I Really would Love to shoot a .357 mag Snubbie. Never did, but I bet they pack a wallop! Got to save and find one that is for sale.
Even though mine is a .357, I'm never going to shoot those through mine.. I've chosen to carry the, .38 spl. Hornady Critical Defense in std. velocity, still over 1000 fps. I feel there will be better control for follow up shots and won't get blinded in low light conditions. That and I have a couple other J frames around the house only chambered for .38.
