Apex poly AET for SW9ve. Who's tried it?

Just a quick note - I got my spring kit and trigger from Apex in the mail on saturday. That was fast shipping! now i just wish Christmas would get here...The wife says these parts are for Christmas, so I guess i'll have to wait... Way excited though!

I'm not sure if it matters but it is the same spring for both. A lot of people may not see any issues with their spring kit and I am not dissuading anyone from using it but this was just my personal experience. I will buy another striker spring from Apex because I like the lighter pull but as I said maybe I found a bunch of hard primers or a little over 3000 rounds (plus dry firing) could be the lifespan of the spring.

Bill thanks for the response. When you say same for both, same spring for both what?

It's the same Apex spring kit for both SD9VE and SD40VE. I'm not sure that either striker would be affected differently but just wanted to state that it was the same kit.

And I misread an earlier post.

Alrighty - finally. Got the trigger and spring kit installed. I had to file the **** out of the the trigger to make it fit and function. I think I took the weapon apart 5 times to re-file.
After I finally got it right, and changed the springs out, I was dry firing - about every 10th pull or so, there would be no click, unless I held the trigger for a second. Bizzare, right? I did not swap the striker spring, just the trigger return and striker block spring. I need this weapon to be as reliable as possible - no light primer strikes here.
I went to the range really quick after the install, and fired around 40 rounds - 0 issues whatsoever. The trigger is amazing, a little lighter. I dont have a trigger gauge, but I'll guess its a a good 2 or 3 pounds lighter than stock. A lot easier to shoot now, a lot more accurate for me.
Like I said, I dont know what the issue was/is with the trigger at first, but after a little shooting, and probably 100 more dry fires, that issue has not returned. Other than that issue, I'm really happy with the trigger, and cant wait to run some more rounds through the weapon. I need more rounds down range before i'll be 100% confident with the weapons reliability again after the above issue.

I had this same issue with my c9 after taking it a part and messing with it. It wouldn't fire unless I really squeezed the trigger hard. 0 problems st the range. Shoots like butter. U can breath on the trigger and it shoots. Weird issue tho I don't have an explanation for it
