Got my 1911

Got my first 1911E. I'm in love. Took it out in the backyard today and this is what I did with 8 rounds of Winchester White box at 10 yards. This is really good for me.

I received a 915 for Christmas. Blew me away; wasn't expecting it at all. Wife and son were able to keep it a secret. Wife saw the smile and knew she and my son picked a good one! It was the first gift I opened so for the next 30 minutes + I was on the edge of my chair waiting for a chance to go shoot the 915. It's awesome. I had a mod 59 years ago, really miss the style and feel in my hand. Father-in-law shot my 915, said it was real nice, less recoil than his Beretta 92.
From what I was able to find out, it was more than likely a law enforcement purchase. Love the balance, weight, action, ease of breakdown and love the 17rnd mag. Now I'm off to find a good poly holster and a couple more mags, would prefer 17 rnd like came with the gun.

Found a full size MP9 range kit under the tree. At first because of the case it felt like a power tool in the wrapping.

I received an m&p shield 9 magazine. I posted on it in the m&p section. It has no one as a sender. It's direct from S&W.
Neither my wife or me ordered it.
So there is a Santa Clause! 8 rounder too.
Now we have 4 of them! truly a Christmas miracle.

Not on Christmas itself. On the 23rd I got a 4566TSW and on the 26th I ordered a 5926.
