I'm new to this site and also new to Smith and Wesson Handguns. I just bought the M&P 22 and also M&P 9. Thing is when I opened the 22 and checked it out, I noticed right away that the spring or whatever it is on the trigger hinge point was missing. There was ALL the free ply in the trigger. I knew right away it was faulty. Problem is, that the place I bought it from doesn't have any more in stock to replace it and have warned me that Smith and Wesson are slow to ship parts to Canada. Call was made to the Warranty centre and same answer on how slow they are to receive parts.. Either way they both said they will look at it. To me it sounds all pretty simple what's wrong. The question is though? Am I right and if they could ship the spring to my home is it an easy enough fix or let the Pro's deal with it???
I apologize if there is already a thread on this.... Like I said I'm new to the Smith and Wesson world and don't want a $2 spring leave a bad taste in my mouth about M&P handguns.
