It happened yesterday while driving around doing a few errands.
Radio playing in the car, this song comes on which I haven't heard in awhile.

I return home, goose up my iTunes collection and have been listening to Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders all afternoon. I think she is the best Female rocker of all time:cool:, and just love that voice.:)

That's the only song I've heard....

Have to throw this one in, excuse me for hogging the thread.

That's the only song I know by her/them. It's not my favorite but the earlier examples I REALLY like. I envy you being able to get a good reminder by listening to the radio. All of our oldie/classic stations here are defunct and when I hear anything it's my son's horrible rap music where the lyrics consist only of ****, ****, ****, ****, ****, **** and about a half a dozen other words that are repeated over and over
again.:(:(:(

I'm a big fan too! One of my favorites is "Ohio" which Rush Limbaugh uses for his theme music.

That is definitely one of my all time favorite songs. When I feel low, that song will pick me up. I've been a Pretenders fan for years.

Yes sir! Excellent choice. The Pretenders are well represented in my iPod with lots and lots of "plays" logged, that's for sure.:D:D

"He's gone, 2000 miles. Is very far through the snow."

"It's a thin line, between love and hate. The sweetest woman in the world could be the meanest woman in the world, if you make her that way." Truer words n'er said

Well I guess one more won't hurt, really well done.

Music can do that. I was channel hopping a few years ago on the road and I heard Dr Hook doing Cover of the Rolling Stone. Instantly I was 17 again without a care in the world.

Big Chrissie fan here too'
& not because shes a fellow buckeye both from Akron.
The learning to Crawl album is one of my favorites.
I think I first fell in love with her way back in 92' while
watching her performance on the "Bob Dylan 30th
Anniversary Concert" doing Dylans "I Shall Be Released"
I still have the VCR tape of the show I recorded off PBS
& break it out from time to time.
.. Chrissie's an exceptional guitarist too*

Not the greatest video, but the audio is good .............
