Any thoughts on Missouri SB613? I believe it passed the Senate and is almost through the House. NRA is neutral on it which puzzles me because it is pro gun.

The legislature passed a very similar bill last year and Nixon vetoed it and it died. I like the bill except for the part about the Federal laws. That will get it vetoed again 'cause it's unenforceable. The rest is good and needed.

Hope this is not too political. This is just my opinion.

Though I am not real familiar with the MO law in question, KS tried to pass some laws circumventing federal law. The feds let them know in no uncertain terms " that ole dog won't hunt. "

And Kansas responded...

The MO bill is being fought over, not whether it will pass, but if it will be the State Senate Bill or the House bill that moves forward.

I will say.....Stop auguring which legislative body to pass it and just get it passed...Holder is about as popular in Missouri as ...Heck I can't think of anything less popular as Holder..

His boss.

We need more states to pass this type of bill. Somehow we have to band together enough to override the illegal use of power in Washington.

Heard on the news last night that the state house took out the part about prosecuting any one for enforcing federal laws that are contrary to the second amendment. How true that is who knows? The senate web site shows no action on the bill yet.
