Cool User Names

Mine is from the letter "J" starting my first & last names. JJ or J to the second power or j square = JAYSQ :D

Mines just my first initial and my last name combined. But I have never been accused of being overly imaginative or creative.

"1morethan8" is the "Number9"...
which is a nickname and used on other forums. I was told the "Number9" was already a username on this board...
I haven't seen it used here? I believe I am the one who used it here several years ago.. but in my old age I had forgot?

Admin can you change my username back to "Number9"!?

I thought mine was very unique! Everywhere else I'm known as Bigreddogs.;)

Just off the top of my head;
Labworm, Walkin' Jack, Zzzipper, Fat Tom, Wyatt Burp, Timn8er, Kozmic, Sipowics, The Ringo Kid and a bunch more that can't seem to think of right now.
We've got quite the cast of characters here and their user names reflect this.

There is one heck of a story behind mine involving a filipina girlfriend, a concurrent American girlfriend, a Sri Lankan maid, and a hacked email account.

I always wonder how many members know the origin of "dashriprock".

I always wonder about the story or meaning behind some of the user names you see on the various forums, while I can decipher others.

I was SO creative...I just used my initials.

But then, most days I can remember what they are.

As a fan of the old tv show Beverly Hillbillies I got this one. When Jethro made his bid for the movie business he chose Dash Riprock for his new macho screen name. Not surprisingly he didn't get very far with it. He wound up if I remember correctly back helpin' Granny bury Elle May's cookin' out in the back yard. :D

The story of "Walkin' Jack": As I've posted before I broke my left leg out sideways at the knee in the fall of '73. A reconstruction after the original injury and two subsequent full knee replacements including bone graft over the years have forced me to have to learn how to walk 3 more times than most people. I don't remember the first time but I certainly DO remember the last three!.

It was after the 1st replacement in '94 that I got into full body work outs and increasing my time on the jogging path in the park behind my house to as much as 10 miles a day.

Miss Pam's brother was a traveling salesman and in town on business. He dropped by the house to say hello and she told him I was out burnin' up the track. I had been at it for a while and she expected me home any time.

He went front to wait for me and soon saw me a hoofin' in up the sidewalk. When I got close enough to hear him he yelled out "here comes Walkin' Jack. It kinda stuck with me over the years. I've even got some family members that call me WJ. Those that know me seem to feel like it is a good name and suites me well.

My excessive exercise routine and track time contributed to the failure of the '94 knee replacement. Done 'er again in '98 and I got a better job done and took much better care of it. 16 years now and still a WALKIN' ;)

Sorry Jack. Jethro chose "Beef Jerky".

Dash Riprock was an actual movie star, under contract at the studio Uncle Jed owned, that dated Ellie Mae.

:o :o :o Dang! My memory is goin' away. I would have lost a major bet on this one. Anyway thanks for straightening me out. All I can do is HOPE I remember this the next time it comes up in a conversation.

But I gotta tell you it's kinda scary. Makes me wonder what ELSE my memory has gotten mixed up. Naaah! The more I think about it the more I'm sure this is the only thing. The rest of my memories are spot on, no doubt.
