Well they do make loud noises that hurt your ears and buck and twist in your grasp. Make you happy one moment and drive you to distraction the next. And you just cannot imagine life without em. Sorta sounds like a woman to me!
Can someone tell me why guns, particularly handguns, are referred to as feminine? I see that on this and other gun forums every day. Examples are, "I can't wait to shoot her", "I brought her home today", and "She's beautiful"...just to name a few.
Seriously, why are guns considered...well, why are they considered "girls"?
Named a car once. Enormous 1968 Grand Marquis with a strange air of impending doom (which later proved accurate). Named it the Hindenburg. Nothing feminine.

Actually a boat is more than a girl-it is a succubus-sucking everything out of you until you sell it to another unsuspecting buyer. I know-i own 4 of themDidn't know they were.
Boats are girls. I've seen cars and bikes - especially FAST ones - called she.
Guns are its.
I'd rather stick Lucille in my pants than Ralph.
I'd rather hear somebody refer to their gun as a "she" than call it a "platform".
