Today I was teaching my girlfriend how to take down the pistol and when the slide was off she proceeded to push the button located near the chamber. Ever since then when I put it back to together it isn't lined up right as you can see in the picture I attached. Is there a way to fix that? And will it effect my firearms performance in anyway? I'm a newbie it's my first pistol so take it easy on me guys if this is a dumb question to you seasoned gun owners

Are you talking about the tip of the recoil rod sticking out from the end? If that's it, field strip it again and make sure the recoil rod is against the flat part of the locking block, not down on the tiny ledge of it. If you need, I cN post a pic of mine...

Yeah I've took it down plenty of times and never had an issue with the rod sticking out until she hit that silver button idk If that's why. I'm going to upload the pics of my rod on now

Eh, never mind. I had it backwards in my head. Try checking that the spring isn't hanging up at the end of the slide.ine is sitting flush and I can't think what is causing yours to stick out like that.

How does the take down lever look when you have the gun back together? Just kind of reaching here. It has to be frame related since it looks fine when the slide is off...
They're all in the upward position as they should be. Should I take it to my local gunstore and have them take a look at it?

I do admit I'm a bit confused about your description, and perhaps it's just a matter of clearing up some terminology. When you say she pushed a button near the chamber, my first thought was that maybe she pushed the striker block on the slide...but then your picture shows the recoil rod at the crown. The terminology as I've always understood it is, the chamber is that part of the barrel where the rounds go in...the muzzle or crown is the end of the barrel where the rounds come out. (Sorry...trying to be basic here...no offense intended.) Some people get hung up on terms, but it does help when describing a problem.
I'm going to attach a video from Apex Tactical which shows their disassembly and spring install process...the video is good to show how you can detail strip the slide, and clean out the striker channel, which you need to do on occasion. You won't need to do all the things shown on the video, unless you are actually going to install the Apex kit...like, you won't need to knock out any pins, remove the extractor, etc.

I can't imagine how pushing the striker block would affect the recoil spring assembly...but then, I don't even know most, much less all.
It may be that you aren't getting the recoil rod assembly in its proper position...not putting it completely up in position. If you aren't, then it can even bind the slide.
Worst case, if you still have problems, post some more pictures. There are lots of people here who are very good at problem solving.

Pushing the striker block while the gun is field stripped shouldn't be a problem. It won't affect the alignment of the recoil rod. I had it couple of times that the recoil rod slipped off the rest on the barrel while I was putting the slide back on. After taking the slide back off, realigning the rod and putting the slide back on carefully it was OK. The striker block get's pushed in by the trigger bar every time you pull the trigger and clears the striker channel so the striker can hit the primer in the cartridge. When I wipe the inside of the slide down after a range session the striker block gets pushed in multiple times and pops right back out. So it shouldn't be a problem. Does your gun function properly when you dry fire it (racking the slide with the EMPYTY gun and pulling the trigger)?

I've watched your video several times, and it's kinda hard to see, since the gun moves in and out of the viewing frame...but if you are talking about the end of the recoil rod sticking out just a little bit when the slide is fully in battery, then that's normal. It won't be completely flush or recessed.
