Moms coming to a Kroger near you

From what I read, Kroger told Moms & Bloomberg to take a hike. They said they would still allow both concealed and/or open carry in accordance with local law.

If that's true, then GOOD FOR KROGER!!!

Not that I ever really shopped at either place, but Target and Ikea are on my NO SHOP LIST. They both have bowed to Liberalistic Fecal Matter and do not allow the LAWFUL carriage of firearms in their stores.

SCREW 'EM!!!

You can add COSTCO to that "do not shop" list. I got one of the nastiest corporate letters I've ever received from them when I inquired why they had a no guns allowed policy in a State where both open and concealed carry are permitted.

Don't have Krogers up here that I ever have seen, I know most stores here don't seem to bother putting up signs. I think other than the local mall and Toys R Us I have never seen one at a local business.

I've seen some of those "Moms". I would think that instead of worrying about the No guns policies at store they should be more concerned violating Kroger's "no pets" rule.

Those signs and policies do not have the force of law in this state. After careful consideration I've come to the conclusion that there's no place more risky than a gun-free zone, so I do what I need to do to protect me and mine while shopping.

Moms Demand Action is going after Kroger now. Hopefully, Kroger will stand firm in their policy to follow state law. Whole Foods has recently posted legal signage here in Texas as response to the open carry issue.

Jest more of the same ol same ol...........Yawn.

It's the same old thing, moms are against most everything....

Kinda like the "You'll put your eye out!" kinda thing!

Kroger's....I did get a really good cut of beef there the other day, a nice thick filet. ;):D

I shop there all the time. If early am, I'm carrying concealed. It's in a mall with a large parking lot, don't know who's hanging around at that time. I'm not looking for trouble, but I want to be prepared for it. I'm not a professional, but it might give me an edge.

I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and the right to own and carry a firearm, but I disagree with all this open carry inside a business. Why would someone do this when they can conceal carry? Is one trying to make a point? If so, I think the damage they do to people that think as I and us as gun owners and sportsmen do is creating more of a negative public perception and increases anti-gun rhetoric.

If this keeps up, in the end the liberals will probably win in some court somewhere and it will end up costing us all. Look at the recent California anti-gun legislation(s). Other states are doing the same sorts of things to limit gun ownership and use.

If you keep rubbing peoples noses in your rights, they might eventually rub back and I don't think any of us will like the outcome. All I personally ask for is that people to use a little common sense and do away with all the macho bravado, bad boy image they are trying to project. It does nothing for our cause and the preservation of our rights.

Remember, "Walk softly and carry a big stick" but don't necessarily show it.

No Kroger's in our area for more than 20 yrs now.
Local COSTCOs are NOT posted with 30.06 signage here in SA and in fact I was in there the other day with my trusty shield on my side. Our local grocery chain (HEB) is not posted either.

States such as NY, CA, MD, CT and NJ have recently passed some onerous laws, yes, but it wasn't because anyone OC'ed. AFAIK, none of the above states even allow OC. Sorry, don't see the connection at all.
They're after our guns, period.
