My 73-year-old, bigger-than-I-am little brother died a little less than an hour ago. He's at peace.

Everything that needed to be said between us had been said. The last time I spoke to him I told him I loved him, that I hated losing him, but that it was okay to let go.

I think he heard me--he opened his eyes a little.

Thank all of you for your prayers and support.

I think I can rest tonight, knowing that he's at peace at last.
