M&P .22 Compact question

The guys that bought one .22C, did it come with 1 or 2 magazines?

I see on the S&W web sight it says it ships with 2 but my LGS says only 1? Is he skimming 1 out of the case?

i can say i noticed Cabela's site showed 2 mags with it as well; have not been able to see one in person yet to verify what they (or Gander, etc) carry in store though

The Smith and Wesson website and company themselves will confirm that.

He wants to take advantage of the fact they're scare and get another $35-50 for them or keep it for his own/his son's gun.

Just picked mine up from the LGS.
2 mags in the box.
Beware of dealers who "harvest" the 2nd mag for resale.

The only time I've seen a differance in number of mags that are suppose to come with a gun from the distributor is in the case of the Talo models. Certain Talo M&P compacts are shipped with one full size mag with a X-Grip on it. All my distributors list the M&P22c with two mags.

I am going to go ahead and answer this despite my hesitance-

ANYTHING is possible, so I am recalcitrant to answer otherwise.

However, in this specific case, 99% probability is too small a number to call it - this model of gun comes with two mags. If you look at their site, the actual S&W product specs list 2 mags.

Because of the way it is boxed, there is no indication that a mag is missing, if you have gotten used to getting just one (anyone think "Kimber"?).

I was already suspicious of some of these rock-bottom prices at the LGS, sounds like they sold less for the lesser price. As I mentioned before, the GM guy said mine came in overnight. He had me check for the parts (allen wrench for sight adjustment, mags, lock) before they did the paperwork. He knew what he expected to deliver. At what I paid, I should have gotten all the parts.
