Ugly Spanish copy of a SW. Caliber 32-34ish.

It has a V spring broken and I haven't really looked for a replacement so it's just waiting in my lobby.

I wouldn't call these ugly, but they are far from beauty safe queens

38/44 Heavy Duty - well worn but photographs very well

This .44 should win first place for ugly.The bore is rougher than the outside but it will spin the bullet and the mechanics are good. I think the genuine imitation pearl grips really helps the looks of it. Larry

well, it was my first t-lock so there is a Sentimental attachment to it..
and I need to get it lettered #37xx and find out more about the name scratched inside the stocks.. "Elmo Murray" before it goes anywhere..

Nope, not quite.

This was reputed to be owned by two lawmen from my county...at least as related by the seller to me, the famous 1930's Sheriff's Son, but for sure by the Marshall in one of the small mountain towns here. I know, because I went to his home and had him hold it while I took his picture and he told me about it. He did not verify previous ownership by the Sheriff, but then, " Why did the auction buyer go through the trouble to transfer it back to the Son?"

The story was that it was recovered from a fatal truck rollover scene by the Sheriff. I can't verify that.

During the Marshall's ownership, it was shortened a bit to make it a better squad car holster revolver.

That meant it needed new sights. Look: What do you think they are?

It still has a lot of that deep blue....I hope that doesn't disqualify it from winning.

Same with mine. Someone forgot to clean after shooting corrosive ammo.

I don't think you guys can spell UGLY! This the most ugly gun in my stable of 44HEs and she still shoots like a champ after I rehabbed her innards! This is her 2nd contest. Enjoy, she shoots a lot better than she looks.
