I like all three of them :)

The product code on the 5-inch no-dash was 103578, and would of shipped in the old cardboard one-piece box with an eagle & three-stripe logo on the front flap.

The product code for my 6.5 is 103576. I bought the first (and only) one I ever saw, about 5 or so years ago. Got the box w/paperwork, combat grips, an extra set of wood pachmayrs and moonclips, a demooner and the tool kit for, I think about 700. Would love to have a 5.5.(U lucky dog!) Bought mine because I couldn't find a 57/657 in any barrel for a reasonable price. People look at me a little strange when I tell them I shoot a 10mm wheelgun.( I think that is why they look at me strangely!) Fun gun to shoot and a lot cheaper to shoot(with 40s) than the 41 mag, if you don't reload. I do but with the plentiful 40 once fired brass on the market it is still 2nd only to the 9mm in economy. What is the differnce between the original run of 610's and the later guns?

The 610 no dash had a 5" or 6.5" barrel. The 610-1 was when the 610 was brought back and was drilled and tapped for a scope. The 610-2 was when they switched to MIM parts and the quick change front sight blade. Some had unfluted cylinders in the later runs.

Thank You. I see.

I like 3 and 5 inch guns. Now the 3 inch 625 and 610 are on my list.

Yeah, I was really lucky in 1999 when I was looking for something for my 50th birthday and was looking at my LGS - there screaming "Buy us" were a 610, 629 and 657 - all 3"! Sadly, I could only afford two so the 610 and 657 followed me home. That poor 629 looked so lonely in the case - for about 5 minutes when the next guy to enter the store bought it!
