Even Glock Haters will like this pistol

At 25 seconds in, when he said, "the happy switch", I thought, YEP, HE'S AN IDIOT.

I notice at around 2:15 he is explaining how you need to make sure it's set for semi, before dropping the slide. Why? Is it liable to start shooting just from having the slide slam home? Man, I always thought Glocks was junk, but that would go beyond JUNK into INSANELY DANGEROUS.

While I will admit, the firing made me smile, the guy in the video did not.

Dousing a hot barrel with cold water? No eye protection?
...

Not going to comment on eye protection - no comment needed, however cold water on the barrel seems to be OK, well at least HK thinks so and they know a thing or two about MGs (barrel cooling at about 0:50 mark) :)

Nope, don't like that Glock either. I've shot a few full auto pistols, none of which were useful. The Glock 18 goes into the same worthless category.

As for the guy in the video, I guess I shouldn't say anything.

It would be "cheaper to feed" than a full auto AR or AK platform.

But other than a point man in a LE active shooter response team, or Military room clearing in an urban battle field, it'd be an expensive toy for the average Joe.

Yo - Moondawg - really cute font and color you are using. You do realize that 99.99999% of the users of this forum have trouble reading that? You are part of the .00001% that use the "light blue" which causes you to feel the need to use a font color that stands out, what you are actually doing is making all of your posts unreadable to all the rest of us. You might consider logging out and then looking at your posts and see if you think they put your best foot forward. Probably best not to modify font and color choices of your posts.

I rememeber a guy telling me....

He told me that they were told NOT to put water on their M16 barrels, but that if he were in a firefight in a rice paddy and his gun ran hot he would be tempted to throw a little water on it.:D

Ok, that was then, this is now. Does Glock and HK actually recommend the water cool down? He says it's official that they do but I'm not sure I believe much of what he says.

A guy in my hunt club has one. After handling it I decided it would be a good assassination tool for point blank use but that's about it. It would also be great for wasting a whole lot of ammo really fast. That is if you had ammo to waste or if someone else was buying it. To me, small sub-guns like that are just toys or murder weapons. That's all they're good for.JMHO

Watch youtube video I've linked in my previous post about torture test of HK121 - that's what guy in the video does: after full belt he takes off barrel, completely submerges it in water then puts it back and rips another belt :)
