So I'm riding around yesterday and get a hankering for a cup of coffee. Oh good, there's a McDs styrofoam coffee cup still in the cup holder from a couple days ago... free refill. yeah I know...

Well, this is really setting a new standard, IMO - a low one! Who would do such a thing! (OK, I'll admit it - I have considered it. )

We have a local slop-house that on weekends serves a buffet breakfast and then makes the fatal mistake of following that a bit too early (10:45, I believe) with a buffet lunch. Of course certain people (not me!) will time their arrival for breakfast so that they can do both - for one fee. I guess the restaurant kind of asks for it. I don't know... maybe they are laughing all the way to the bank?

I kind of marvel at that phenomenon, but when I see the general shape of these characters as they waddle in and out, I am glad I am not so inclined. I don't have the metabolism for that kind of behavior!

Senior coffee at MCD is .48 with tax it's .53 and you get a clean cup and refills.

I hate to say it but I'm a bit careless with money, but when it comes to a gallon of gasoline man I'm cheap! I don't drive around looking for a cheaper price and such but I drive in way to stretch out that gallon. Drove my Chevrolet HHR to Ohio last year, 247 miles one way and was happy when after a fill up and the math was done 41.7 MPG was revealed, was so happy I found a Gun shop and wasted a lot of moola there to celebrate!

Take the wife and grandkids to Costco and then BJ's just to get the free samples then buy a $.50 bottle of water and 4 straws.. then refill the empty bottle from the Soda machine..
