Just ordered a spring from Jeff. Anyone out there have one and if so what are your opinions on it?

Have put in the Apex Spring kit, polymer trigger and the lighter sear spring. World of difference with no problems at all. Even put the 20lb stainless guide rod. Mine is the SW40VE, actually selling it today for the SD40VE to go with my SD9VE. The SW40VE is from 2008.

Thanks!!! The spring is in the mail and hopefully will be here tomorrow. Once I I get it in I'll report back.

+1 for the Apex kit in my SD9VE. Installed it about 2 years and 1500 rounds ago and never looked back.

I have the full Apex kit in my SD9VE including the polymer trigger. It makes a world of difference in everything about the trigger. It reduces the travel, reduces the pull to just over 5 lbs, and along with a polished striker block it make everything much smoother. The polymer trigger is amazing. This is a photo back when I was playing with a light on the gun -- I took it off. I never could get used to it.

I put the new spring in today from sigmatrigger.com and what a difference. I can't wait to get to the range and test it out.

I also finally broke down and put the Apex spring kit in my SD40VE. I can tell the trigger pull is lighter, but I'll have to wait a few days to check it with a trigger gauge.

I have an issue can anyone help me with??? I orderee the spring from jeff for the trigger everything is going smoothly when I get down to the last two pins before the spring I notice they look like they are locked in the bottom half of the pins are circular... how do I get these out they dont just pop out like the other ones did

If I remember correctly, on the newer model VE's they may not come out. The gun I just put the spring in is from 2007 and I had no issues. Email Jeff and ask him, I'm sure he would be able to tell you. Sorry I was no help.

So I contacted jeff about the spring come to find out I have the sear block with the "pressed pins" in it... go figure 22.5 million sigmas and im one of the ones with the pressed pins.... anyway he said send him the spring and the sear block assembly and he would fix it for me so not a total loss but was excited to do my first mod by myself
