Hey Shield guys **update, order placed**

Thanks for all the suggestions, I greatly appreciate them and have a bit of research to do on these.

The owb I use is made by a local saddlery and is an outstanding holster, Sweetwater Saddlery is the place. Looking for an iwb for those times a little deeper concealment is needed.

I tried several holsters and found Kusiak IWB tuckable to be excellent for me.

Holsters Fit Your Climate

What do you like for iwb holsters?
A lot depends on how you dress and that there depends on where you live. Where you live will influence what IWB holster you'll like
and two or three or those may do you well.
Here in southern Arizona (along the gulf states too) an IWB needs to cover the entire gun if it's next to your skin__like wearing a T-shirt. For that time of year I use the Nate N-82. They offer three
different ones. I you carry at 3 O'clock, 4 or 5 then you won't need the adjustable cant model.
If you always wear an underwear shirt and don't sweat a lot then you have more so many choices to choose from you'll wind up with a box full. Many mentioned here by other posters are good ones.
G'luck and enjoy.

+1 for Remora iwb holster. Plus there are other options to fit your carry choices. Ankle, sweat guard, leather, reinforced, and different liners.

When I lived/worked in Tucson there were a lot less options then there are today for factory made rigs lol. I shudder when I think of how miserable I was May-October.

The only other pistol I've worn iwb is a 1911 and it's been in either a custom made rig by a former co-worker (way back when) or the Sparks VMII. Once again I appreciate all the suggestions on what works for you guys, I'll let you know when I make my decision.

I've been real happy with a Crossbreed minituck. My son has a supertuck for his Shield and seems to be happy with it. My daughter has some kind of appendix carry holster for hers but I can't remember which one. I do not like single clip holsters because on me they do not stay planted. The CB minituck rides very tight to the body and is perfect at 4:00 o'clock. I am 5'8" and 165ish with a 34" belt and even the 8 rd. magazine hides well in pretty light clothing.

I would also recommend Theis holsters. I do not have one for the Shield but I do have one for a PPK/s and I like it. Great product, price, and people.

For OWB carry I have a Sparks 55BN on order but the wait time for them is long (12 to 14 wks).

you said it once, the VMII if you can carry a 1911 just imagine how well it will handle a little shield. I have one for my M&P 40 compact my winter EDC and just received the one for the shield 9mm my summer EDC.

I have bought 4 different ones. The Hidden Hybrid is solid. Alien Gear is a great deal (free shell trades for life). Sticky holster is decent(very good for quick off/on). I just got the N82 professional. It is very comfy but, you have to twist the gun to unholster and my personal opinion is it's very difficult with the Shield.
