Last night my wife told me that it was OK for me to purchase my next weapon. We always discuss major purchases. Well, I was going shooting anyhow so that made it rather easy. After expending nearly 500 rounds with my future son in law, I went and purchased a new M&P45. This is the second new M&P in our house. You see, two weeks ago I purchased a new M&P 22 compact for my wife. This new M&P45 joins the mentioned 22 compact plus a M&P40, a M&P AR15-22 and a M&P AR10.

Congrats! I hear only good things about the M&P 45. I also have the M&P 15-22 and I love it! I love it so much that I bought it's big brother, a M&P VTACH II. We now have 7 different M&P's in the house.. They should come with warnings, "may cause excessive purchasing of other M&P's!"

Well guys, I have now purchased another M&P. This one is the MP15 sport. I have put about 300 rounds through it already and it is a nice shooting weapon. It is a welcome addition to my M&P family. This gives me 6 M&P weapons, 3 rifles and 3 semi automatic handguns. Up next for me is a Smith and Wesson 1911.

How's the reliability of that M&P22 Compact?

I've been lusting after one but reviews seem few and far between. I take a lot of new shooters shooting, some with small hands, and the M&P22 Compact seems perfect, but my biggest fear is having their first experiences ruined by a jamomatic. I've avoided Walther P22's for this very reason.

Congrats on the M&P 45 and M&P-15! I have the FS M&P 45 and really enjoy it. I also have the FS M&P 9 & 40. If it weren't for already having a Bushmaster, I'd be adding the M&P-15 sport also; but you never know! Enjoy :-)

Congratulations! Don't forget to submit the rebate for your three free magazines.

McE, the 22c has been very reliable, it eats anything I have thrown at it. Wife has bad hands, really bad hands and this is her weapon. Shoots nice and easy, as you would expect from a .22. The only issue I have is it's limited magazine capacity. Its seems to me that a mag for a .22 should hold more than 10 rounds.

Congratulations! Sounds like a nice collection of M&Ps. How has the 308 been for you?
.

The .308 has been a rock solid performer. I recently had a ftf with it. I cycled the weapon and ejected the round. Darn thing didn't have a primer in it. Hard to blame the rifle for that one!!! I love shooting it but its just so darn expensive to do so.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. My handguns are the .40, .45 and the .22c. They have all been rock solid for me. I did have a few issues with the .45 at first. After a couple of hundred rounds it is now a solid performer.

I currently only own 2 m&p guns, but own 6 total smith and wesson pistols. They are hard to beat!
