Came with one. I snagged another on ebay due to that aforementioned "nasty adjustable sights" issue. I think there's a pic of it over on one of the Frankengun threads.

This gun is obviously giving you major heartburn.

Hobbit, IIRC the old guy just turned 65....... have a little pity on him......if you apply Bam-Bam's "useful life/shooting years left formula" (70 - your age) he's only got 5 years............
Besides the guy only get "take out" salads and Italian to eat....... I'm guessing he hasn't seen a good grilled steak in years......

If I'm understanding correctly, it's gotten to the point where 18DAI is now collecting based on the various blemishes that owners have put on them.

No ...... IMHO .....I think his theory on "collecting" 3rd Gen Smith Autos is more like......"MORE I Need MORE!!!!!!!"....... and for god's sake don't get between him a 3rd Gen .45.....you'd end up as nothing but a wet spot in the road.............LOL

Ummm fellas, I only have 26 3rd gen guns. But I am 54 YOA so there is still a little time to get a few more.
And I would slow down, at the very least, to allow any one of you to get out from between me and a 3rd gen 45.
Oh, BTW, I am not a collector. I am a collectors nightmare. I shoot all the NIB 3rd gen guns I accumulate. Lifes too short, and modern production guns too ugly and cheaply made, not to shoot and enjoy the fine guns made in decades past. Best regards, 18DAI

A 3rd Gen going from Free America -IN TO- Massachusetts is not "smuggling" or "importing." If anything, it is a RE-IMPORT and/or returning HOME.
Tell the idiots who craft these laws to prove to you, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that it EVER left in the first place! And no silly paper is PROOF. All of these look very much alike.

Hey Bam-Bam, at least you have a couple states between you and 18DAI to see him coming. I'm in the same state and have been to some of the same shops... But he has been nice enough to let me know where there are some nice ones at locally.
