What I have never been able to understand is just why is Halloween (all hallows eve) celebrated at all??? It is the day before "All Hallows Day", aka All Saints Day. Halloween is a pagan celebration! The "eve" of a religious holiday should not be "celebrated" by pagan rites, rituals and decorations.

Pop's second oldest sister was born 10/31/1912. She passed at 109. Had she lived to 10/31/2022 she would have been 110 years old. I don't think Halloween was celebrated in 1912, the year the Titanic sank.
