Went to the range this weekend. I expected this derringer to not be very good, but wow! What a piece of sh*t! Shot four rounds at about 25 feet, only three hit the paper, and they were all over the place!

Just to let you know it wasn't me. this is with my Colt Huntsman shot at the very end of my indoor range.

Well 25 ft is longer than one would even have to use a derringer.

They aren't exactly designed for long range.

Aren't they originally designed for across a poker table? :)

Something like that, but I still expected it to hit the rather large piece of paper. The three that did hit were all near the edge and different edges every time.

Picked this up the other day. Haven't shot it yet, but it looks like fun! Scant information online, but it seems they made guns during the 1950-1960's. However this says Germany on the side. I have seen other examples that say West Germany. Could this be recent enough to have been produced after they merged again?

What little I can find on the internet says Reck Sportwaffenfabrik was manufacturing postwar through either 1968 or the early 1970's, then was bought up and merged with a group that made airguns.

From the look and feel of it, I cannot believe it is any later than the 70's.

Posted most of these photos here before but don't need much of an excuse to do an encore:D:
(Found all of these by happening upon them at various times at local stores-gives you a reason to
get up in the morning!).

Great photo compilation everyone- there is a pic of pretty much every 22 I could ever imagine having in a collection! I have gone through a fair share of 22's in my time, but sad to say currently have only a single 22, a model 17 made the year I was born ( certainly a fine choice) but planning on a few more soon!
