Hello all, again.
I have a question regarding magwell for USPSA limited. Is it possible to install the magwell which is intended for IDPA ESP into a firearm to be used in USPSA limited? I am asking this is that the magwell I am trying to buy from speedshooters and taylorfreelance are out of sstoc but the smaller magwell for IDPA is available and i wonder if I can just use it.
Thanks.

It's not problem. There aren't any restrictions on magwells in Limited (you don't have to use any if you don't want to). The larger magwells are just an easier target. The SSS ESP magwell is a limited that has been cut down to fit in the IDPA box.

Thank you sir.
By the way, would you suggest brass, steel or aluminum magwell for m&p?

I use an aluminum one on mine, but I shoot 9 Major in Open with a compensator so recoil reduction is not an important issue with me. If I was shooting Limited I'd probably go with the brass one.

Edit: I've heard of a few problems with the steel ones (fitment)
