Ok... maybe this is getting old to many of you but I'm really impressed with my new Shield ( 9mm) - I had my SIG out there to compare and I was hitting on par with the Shield.. I only was practicing 7 yards and less so at a greater distance the SIG (4in barrel) may have shown brighter...
I put about 170 round through of Federal 115 fmj, some 91 gr solid copper, funky German stuff, but 60% was IMI's Ex-Star HP... and it all ran very well.. I had one FTE with the IMI but that may have been my error.. I'm excited to see the IMI ran as well as it did because Widener's has their Ex-Star at a close out of 1000 rds for $219. That is FMJ prices for an HP. I'll write up a separate thread on this ammo.
This experience really gave me confidence in the Shield as my EDC. Accurate, controllable, reliable, durable, comfortable, and in conclusion, I think they are part "Labrador Retriever" because they will eat anything!
You did a great job on this Smith and Wesson! Thank you!
